I still don't have a computer, but tomorrow is the day I get it back. I'm cautiously optomistic as I have heard that before. Fingers are crossed. I have been informed that we lost everything that was on the computer, silly things like pictures and all of my Etsy documentation. You heard me right, all of it. I guess doing a back up of your hard drive is the way to go, huh? I will be adding that to my list of things to do.
In the meantime I thought I would update you on my niece that was in a terrible car accident 5 weeks ago today. You can read about it here. I am thrilled to announce that she is going home tomorrow and is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers . . . they worked!
With any luck I will have an actual blog post with crafty news over the weekend. I have photos to take, things to list and stories to tell.

Update . . . or lack thereof
I have nothing to report on the computer front . . . the fact that I don't have it back yet makes me very nervous. Nervous enough that I'm busy thinking about what I will do if I have to buy a new computer.
I have been thinking for a while that I would really like a laptop, but I was thinking more of in addition to, not in place of. Now I'm wondering, could I survive with "just" a laptop?
If I do decide to buy a laptop I'd really like to get a Mac. I haven't had an Apple since the Apple IIE, which was approximately one million years ago. However, I keep hearing great things about them, and my daughter loves hers.
Since I can't do any regular posting right now without my computer I'd like to turn things over to you. Any thoughts? Laptop or desktop? PC or Mac? I'd love to hear from you.

Technical Difficulties . . .
Please stand by . . . we are experiencing technical difficulties. Ugh. Over the weekend our computer crashed - I'm not saying who did what but I can tell you I was 3 hours away so it wasn't me!!
I hope to be back up and running in a few days, although I may have lost everything. I know.
