I've been busy working on a Valentine mini album that I hope to get listed in my shop in the next few days. Included with the album will be lots of embellishments from Scenic Route (the curved arrow, labels, small arrow and journaling blocks shown above) and also several embellies that I have made myself (red felt heart, flowers & heart with buttons, red heart on vintage word, etc.) I have been having so much fun making the embellishments - the colors are so much fun! Also included in the embellishment set is a playing card (hearts of course!) and a list of sayings (you + me, love ya. mean it., to name a few) that can be cut into word strips and used alone or attached to something, such as the felt heart.
The album itself has an awesome cover page made from Tim Holtz grungeboard. This is my first time using grungeboard and I love it! I painted it bright red and that really makes the embossed swirls stand out. Inside the album will be some fun patterned paper, mostly from Scenic Route.
