I have nothing to report on the computer front . . . the fact that I don't have it back yet makes me very nervous. Nervous enough that I'm busy thinking about what I will do if I have to buy a new computer.
I have been thinking for a while that I would really like a laptop, but I was thinking more of in addition to, not in place of. Now I'm wondering, could I survive with "just" a laptop?
If I do decide to buy a laptop I'd really like to get a Mac. I haven't had an Apple since the Apple IIE, which was approximately one million years ago. However, I keep hearing great things about them, and my daughter loves hers.
Since I can't do any regular posting right now without my computer I'd like to turn things over to you. Any thoughts? Laptop or desktop? PC or Mac? I'd love to hear from you.

Absolutely a Mac. I am on my fifth one and they simply keep plugging along. I do not have the problems PC owners complain about and even if I get a bit of a glitch, I can fix it myself. It is only more outlay in the beginning and but I bet if owners would compare costs over the lifetime use of comparable machines it would even out. I have both a laptop and a desk top but the one I use the most is my iMac with the biggest size screen.
