Adhesive

Oh, remember when I went on and on about how wonderful this adhesive was and how happy I was to have finally found a brand of adhesive that I loved?  Remember that?

Sigh.  I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", right?  Well, someone at Duck brand adhesive just couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to mess with my favorite adhesive.  It's hard to even explain the change that they made, but instead of kind of a solid adhesive the "new and improved" adhesive is little pieces of adhesive, and it's very hard to control where it goes.

You're thinking I'm making it up or at least exaggerating, right?  I think I heard an eyeroll.  Trust me, the change it not good.  I went on the JoAnn Fabrics website hoping I could snag some of the "old but actually better" stuff, since JoAnn's is one of the places that sells this brand and I found several other people had written reviews talking about how much they like the former version.  So, there.

I still buy this brand almost exclusively and I'm getting used to it, but I really, really wish they would change it back.  Just so you know, I'm not just whining about it here, I also sent an email to the company.

See?  I'm serious.

I'm totally with you on how important good adhesive is. I'd be very upset if the makers of my favorite glue changed it. I already have a hard enough time finding it since the local craft stores stopped selling it a few years ago! Good for you for e-mailing the company. I hope they listen...
