Once I decided to open an Etsy shop I thought I should buy something from an existing shop so that I understood how it worked, and to see how the item would be packaged. No surprise that I decided to buy something from EJ&T. I've "talked" to Kellie, the shop owner, a few times and consider her to be a great example of how to do Etsy right.
I've followed EJ&T over the past two years and watched her approach 10,000 sales. How awesome is that? Once she reached 9,997 I decided that I wanted to be her 10,000 sale. Not for the prize she mentioned in her blog (really!) but just in support of her. So, I placed an order for 3 items and all of a sudden a band started playing and confetti fell from the sky! Ok, not really but it kind of happened in my head.
Yesterday my package arrived from EJ&T and it looked like this:
Adorable bag toppers and label, right? Once I unwrapped everything it looked like this:
What a great prize! Lots of fun things to use on cards or in scrapbooks. I'm so glad that I was able to support Kellie and I wish her continued success.
By the way, here's what I purchased:
I'm going to use the boy silhouettes in my Oh Boy mini album kit, and the lined paper stickers in another project.
Speaking of the Oh Boy mini album kit, I listed it in my shop today! I'll share some photos tomorrow.
