Mother Nature and I are back on speaking terms. After an extended rain shower yesterday morning the sky started to clear and it turned into a nice afternoon. The fam gathered at the lake and we spent the afternoon in the water having a great time. I was so happy that the day turned out well and I got to spend the afternoon hanging out and relaxing.
Late in the evening another storm system moved in and man, did it rain! Prior to the rain there was a beautiful sunset, but when I took pictures of it they turnd out really strange! I didn't have my flash on, so maybe that's why they look like this?
That's not how it looked in person, but kinda cool, right?
Today looks bright and sunny and windy . . . not sure what my plans are yet. I have book club tonight and I'm finished with the book so no pressure there. I may just sit out in the yard and read my current book (Eclipse, the third book in the Twilight series) or maybe I'll be crafty. We'll see.
